Masala Paratha Recipe

Masala paratha is spiced whole wheat flatbreads. It's a delectable twist on plain paratha, making it another good meal option.

0.3 Cup(44.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)
1/2 Powder Tsp(1.0 gm) Red Chilly
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
2.0 Tsp(6.0 gm) Ghee
20.0 Ml(20.0 ml) Water
  • In a mixing bowl, take 1/3 cup whole wheat flour, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4th tsp jeera, 1/4th tsp salt and mix well.

  • Add a little water and mixing it properly with hand, knead it into a soft dough.

  • Rolling it into a ball form, coat it very lightly with whole wheat flour. Flatten and make it in a circular paratha shape using a rolling pin.

  • Heat a nonstick tava on a low flame and roast the paratha on it. Flip and spread 1.5 tsp ghee on the paratha.

  • Allowing it to cook, make sure both sides are browned well.

  • Serve hot.
