- Steps to Prepare
Pre preparations
Soak 1 tbsp rice and 1 tsp black urad dal for 2 hours and grind it into a smooth paste.
Ferment it overnight.
Boil 2tbsp potato.
boil 1 tbsp tur dal.
For batter
Take a bowl and add the femented batter in it, add 1/8th tsp salt and mix well.
For sambhar
In a heated pan add 2 tsp oil, 1/2 tsp rai,4 kadi patta, 2 red chilly, 1/2 tsp haldi, 1/2 tsp red chilly powder,1 tbsp sambhar powder, 1/4th cup julienne onion,1/4th cup diced tomato, 1 diced drumstick,2 tbsp chopped carrot, 2 tbsp chopped brinjal,2 tbsp chopped pumpkin and mix well.
Add 1/2 tsp salt, boiled tur dal, 1 tbsp tamarind pulp and cook well.
For masala
In a heated pan add 1 tsp oil,1/2 tsp urad dal, 1/2 tsp chana dal,2 tsp chopped onion and saute well.
Add 1/4th tsp haldi and boiled and chopped potato, 1/4th tsp red chilly powder, 1/8th tsp salt and mix well.
For dosa
Take a flat pan and let it heat.
Once the pan is heated Spread the prepared dosa batter.
Roast it with 1 tsp oil
Fill in the prepared potato masala.
Fold it
Serve with sambhar
