This easy, very delicious masala bread pakoda is a great evening snack packed with protein.
For making a besan mixture
Take 1 tbsp besan in a bowl and little water to make a paste. Keep it aside.
In a kadai, heat 2 tsp oil, add 1/4th tsp rai, 1/4th tsp chopped green chilli, 1/4th tsp hing, 1 tbsp chopped onion, 1 tbsp chopped tomato, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4th tsp red chilly powder, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp salt and the prepared besan paste.
Add enough water to cook the besan.
Stir it well to avoid any lumps
Cook to thicken the besan mixture
Add 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves
For the pakoda
Heat 3 tsp oil in the pan
Place 1 bread in the pan
Apply the cooked besan mixture on top of the bread
Flip the bread and cook on the other side
Fry till golden brown.
Serve it hot.
