Marble Cake Recipe

This easy Marble Cake recipe is moist and made with a swirl of vanilla and chocolate cake.

1/2 Cup(64.0 gm) Maida

1 No.(45.0 gm) Egg

2 Tsp(3.0 gm) Cocoa Powder

2 Tbsp(29.0 gm) Curd

1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Baking Powder
ingredients
1/4 Cup(36.0 gm) Sugar Powder
ingredients
2 Tbsp(23.0 gm) Butter

For Greasing(2.0 ml) Oil

As Required(15.0 ml) Water
  • In a bowl, add 2 tbsp butter, 1/4th cup of curd, 2 tbsp powdered sugar, an egg yolk, sieve in 1/2 cup maida and 1/2 tsp baking powder. Add 15 ml water and whisk well.

  • Add whipped egg white to the mix.

  • Make paste of cocoa powder with water and keep aside.

  • Coat the tin with 1/2 tsp oil and 1/2 tsp maida, pour the batter in the cake tin.

  • Now add the cocoa paste in the tin.

  • Bake at 180 degree celsius for 25 mins and once done insert a toothpick and check.

  • Serve a fresh baked chocolatey cake for supper.
