Antioxidant and vitamin C rich raw mango added to flavor the usual plain rice, give it a sour tangy flavor. Green mango rice, easy to cook and delicious in flavor adds to the variety.
Wash and cook 2 tbsp rice and keep aside.
Soak 1/2 urad dal and keep aside.
In a pan, heat 1 tsp oil.
To that add 1/4th tsp rai, 1/4th tsp jeera, 2 kadi pattas, 1 tsp soaked urad dal and allow it to crackle.
Then Add 2 tsp grated raw mango, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp salt and mix well.
Once mixed, add 4 tbsp cooked rice and mix well.
