Malabar Pathiri Recipe

Malabar Pathiri is a pancake made of rice flour. It is part of the local cuisine among the Mappilas of the Malabar region in Kerala State of Southern India.

50 Ml(50.0 ml) Water
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Coconut Oil
1/4 Cup(45.0 gm) Rice Flour
  • In a pan add water and add 1/2 tsp coconut oil, 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4th cup roasted rice flour mix well till water absorbs and cover for 5 minutes.

  • Knead the dough of this mixture and make the balls out of it

  • Roll the balls and roast it on pan

  • Serve
