Makhana Kheer Recipe

Kheer is an classic traditional Indian sweet dish very popular during festivities. Addition of Makhanas also known as Foxnuts packed a rich source of potassium,magnesium and calcium content makes it great for bone health. A yummy sweet treat.

1 Cup(14.0 gm) Makhana

200 Ml(200.0 ml) Milk
ingredients
1 Tbsp(10.0 gm) Cashewnut (Chopped)
ingredients
4 No.(0.4 gm) Kesar (Strand)
ingredients
1 Tbsp(12.0 gm) Raisin
ingredients
1 Tbsp(13.0 gm) Sugar
ingredients
2 Tsp(8.0 gm) Ghee
  • For making makhana kheer

  • In a kadai, add 2 tsp ghee,1 tbsp raisin,1 tbsp chopped kaju and 1 cup makhana.

  • Roast it well and add 200 ml milk,1 tbsp sugar, 4 strand kesar. Mix well

  • Ready to serve.
