Makai paneer is a semi-dry, north Indian-style vegetable that is delicious and bursting with flavour. It goes well with parathas topped with ghee or simply with rotis. Paneer is high in protein and calcium, making it a satiating meal.

- Steps to Prepare












Take a nonstick fry pan and heat it over a low flame.
Add 1 tsp oil and 1/2 cup paneer. Saute till golden brown then keep aside
Take another nonstick pan.
Saute 1 tsp oil with 1/2 tsp jeera and kaju paste.
To this mix add 1 tbsp onion, 1/2 tsp green chilli, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp red chilly powder, 1/4 tsp haldi, 1 tsp kasuri methi and boiled corn. Saute this effectively.
Add 20 ml water to this dry mixture and let it simmer.
Add the previously fried paneer and cook until the desired consistency is obtained.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with chapati.
