Mackerel is abundant in omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin K which helps in blood clot, builds bones and regulates the blood cholesterol levels. Mackerel is also known as bangda, It is one of the most widely consumed fish variety in India.
In a kadai, heat 1 tbsp oil, add 2 tbsp chopped onion, 1 tbsp chopped tomato , 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, 1/2 tsp chopped green chillies, 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp dhania powder, 1/4th tsp garam masala, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste.
Saute it well and add water.
Put 1 bangda fish and mix well.
Cover and cook well.
Serve it hot with rice.
