  • In a kadai, heat 1 tsp oil.

  • Add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 4 kadi patta and allow it to crackle.

  • Add 1/2 tsp ajwain, 2 tbsp chopped onion, 1.5 tbsp chopped tomato and saute till it softens.

  • Now add spices, 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, 1/8 tsp haldi, 1/2 tsp jaggery powder, 3 tbsp cooked chawli and saute well.

  • Add 1/4 tsp coriander leaves.

  • Add 1/4 tsp salt and mix.

  • Cover and cook for a while and serve hot with chapati or rice.
