Lobia (Cowpea) Curry Recipe

Lobia is loaded with fibre, and the kind it has is known as soluble fibre, which binds to cholesterol and helps throw it out of the body, besides keeps constipation away. Fibre also boosts satiety and that's why lobia is every weight-watcher's friend too.

  • In a kadhai, add 1/2 tsp oil, 1 tsp rai, 4 kadi patta, 1/2 tsp ajwain, 2 tbsp chopped onion, 1 tbsp chopped tomato, 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1 tsp jaggery powder, 3 tbsp cooked chawli, 1/4th tsp salt, 90 ml water and cook well.
