Steps
- Step 1 Take 1/4th cup masoor dal, soak for 15 minutes and keep aside
- Step 2 Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pressure cooker, add 1/4th tsp jeera, 1/4th tsp rai and add 3 kadi patta
- Step 3 Once they start crackling, add 1 tbsp chopped onion and sauté
- Step 4 Once the onions turn golden brown, add 1/4th tsp red chilli powder, 1/4th tsp garam masala, 1/4th tsp haldi and pour in a little water
- Step 5 Once simmering, add 1 tbsp chopped tomato, 1 tbsp peas, 1 tbsp chopped carrot, 1 tbsp julienne cabbage, 1 tbsp chopped cauliflower, 1/4 drumstick, previously soaked lentil and 1/4th tsp salt
- Step 6 Mix well, pour in a little more water and cover to cook
- Step 7 Pressure cook for 3 whistles, take off the flame and transfer to a serving bowlServe hot with rice or chapatti
