- Step 1
Heat a pressure cooker with 1/2 tsp butter, add 1/4 tsp grated garlic, 1/8 cup chopped onion, 2 black peppercorns and saute for a minute.
- Step 2
Add soaked dal, 1/2 cup chopped tomato, salt for taste and water as required
- Step 3
Mix everything, close the lid and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
- Step 4
Blend the soup until smooth using an immersion blender
- Step 5
Add 1/4 cup chopped spinach and simmer until it wilts.
- Step 6
Give it a Nestle Twist by adding mixed seeds
- Step 7
Stir in 1/4 tsp lemon juice and serve warm
