  • In a kadhai, heat 1/2 tsp butter, add 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste and saute.

  • Add 1/4 cup of diced tomato and 1 tbsp cooked whole lentil.

  • Saute for a minute.

  • Season with 1/4 tsp each of salt and pepper.

  • Add water and mix well.

  • Cover the kadhai with a lid and cook for 5 minutes.

  • Turn off the heat and puree the mixture with a blender.

  • Sprinkle black sesame seeds on top and serve hot.
