Steps
- Step 1
Soak and pressure cook 1/8 cup cowpea.
- Step 2
In a pan, heat 2 tsp oil, 1/2 tsp grated garlic, 2 tbsp chopped onion and saute well.
- Step 3
Now, add boiled cowpea, 1 bay leaf, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp black pepper powder, 1/4 tsp haldi and mix well.
- Step 4
Give a Nestle Twist by adding sweet corn.
- Step 5
Add water as required and let it cook. Simmer the soup for 57minutes. Turn off the heat.
- Step 6
Now, add 2 tsp lemon juice.
- Step 7
Mix and serve hot.
