Lemon Coriander Clear Soup With Butter Recipe

Lemon coriander soup is a clear vegetable soup flavoured with lemon and coriander leaves. Lemon adds to the tangy taste and coriander leaves give subtle citrus notes in this vegetable soup. A bowl of lemon and coriander soup can make all that cough blues go away from you in heavy monsoons or in cold biting weather. The soup is warming, nutritious and loaded with vitamin C.

1.0 Tsp(4.0 ml) Lemon Juice
4.0 Chopped Tsp(4.0 gm) Coriander Leaves
2.0 Chopped Tsp(6.0 gm) French Beans
2.0 Chopped Tsp(6.0 gm) Carrot
2.0 Tsp(5.0 gm) Arrow Root Flour
1/4 Chopped Tsp(0.62 gm) Garlic
1/2 Chopped Tsp(1.0 gm) Ginger
0.13 Powder Tsp(0.37 gm) Black Pepper
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1.0 Tsp(4.0 gm) Butter
140.0 Ml(140.0 ml) Water
  • Take a pan, add 2 tsp butter, wait till it melts.

  • Then add 1/2 tsp chopped garlic, 1/2 tsp chopped ginger and saute them well.

  • Add 2 tsp chopped french beans, 2 tsp chopped carrot & saute well.

  • Then add 4 tsp chopped coriander leaves, saute well.

  • Then add the mixture, required amount of water & mix well.

  • Then add 1/4 tsp salt, flax seeds (Nutritional Twist), 1/8 tsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp lemon juice.

  • Serve hot.
