A Coconut milk flavored version of lauki halwa tastes extremely delicious and is nutrient rich dessert.
Take a thick bottomed pan and heat it at a low flame.
Add 1 cup grated bottle gourd, sauce till the moisture dries.
Add 1 tbsp ghee, 1 tsp chopped badam, 1 tsp chopped pista and 1 tsp chopped kaju and mix well.
Add 1/2 cup coconut milk and stir and mix till coconut milk thickens a little.
Add 1.5 tbsp khoa, add 2 tbsp sugar, add 1/8th tsp green elaichi powder for a beautiful aroma.
Mix this well to ensure all the ingredients are mixed evenly.
Cover and let it cook. Stir continuously until the right consistency is reached.
