Steps
- Step 1 In a kadhai, heat 2 tsp oil
- Step 2 Add moong dal badi and fry it till it turns golden brown
- Step 3 Remove the badis and keep aside
- Step 4 In the same oil, add 1/4th tsp jeera and allow it to crackle
- Step 5 Add 1 no
- Step 6 whole red chilly, 1/2 bay leaf, and 1/2 cup chopped dudhi
- Step 7 Cover with a lid and allow dudhi to cook in its own water
- Step 8 Once the dudhi is partially cooked season it with some spices like, 1/8th tsp haldi
- Step 9 1/4th tsp red chilly powder, 1/4th tsp grated ginger, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp sugar, and 1/4th tsp garam masala
- Step 10 Mix and saute the spices well with dudhi and allow to cook
- Step 11 Then, add fried badis and mix
- Step 12 Garnish with 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves and serve with chapati
