- Step 1 Heat a pan with 1 tsp oil, add 1 tsp jeera, 1/4 tsp chopped green chilies, 1/8 tsp hing, 1 tsp chopped garlic, 1 tbsp chopped onion, 1/4 tsp dry mango powder and saute.
- Step 2 Add 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp haldi, cooked tur dal, 1 tbsp chopped tomatoes and 1 tsp lemon juice
- Step 3 Simmer for 5 minutes over low flame
- Step 4 Garnish with 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves
- Step 5 Give it a Nestle Twist by adding grated coconut
- Step 6 Serve hot with steamed rice or jeera rice
