- Step 1 Heat a pan with 1/2 tsp ghee, add 1/4 tsp rai and jeera, 1/2 tsp chopped green chillies and 4 kadi patta.
- Step 2 Add 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, 1 1/2 tbsp chopped onion and saute until it turns light brown.
- Step 3 Add 2 tbsp chopped tomato and saute well.
- Step 4 Add dal stock for cooking.
- Step 5 Add cooked kulith dal and mix well.
- Step 6 Add 1/2 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
- Step 7 Mix well and cook.
- Step 8 Add 1/2 tsp salt for taste, 1/4 tsp dhania powder and mix everything well.
- Step 9 Cover and cook to combine all flavors well
- Step 10 Serve dal in a bowl and add lemon juice.
- Step 11 Give it a Nestle Twist by adding black sesame seeds
- Step 12 Serve hot with rice.
