Khoya Burfi Without Ghee Recipe

Mouth melting, delicious, relish and simple Indian sweet,loved by all ages with high in protein, carbs, calcium and phosphorus

1/2 Cup(82.0 gm) Khoa
2 Tbsp(22.0 gm) Sugar (Powder)
2 Tsp(6.0 gm) Pista (Chopped)
2 Tsp(5.0 gm) Almond (Chopped)
8 No. Strands(0.8 gm) Kesar
1/8 Tsp(0.24 gm) Green Elaichi (Powder)
  • In a heated pan add 1/2 cup khoa and stir continuously till khoa starts melting.

  • Once khoa melts add 2 tbsp sugar powder, 1/8th tsp green elaichi powder and few kesar strands.

  • Stir well til it thickens and starts leaving pan.

  • Turn off the heat once it leaves the pan.

  • Transfer to greased tray and add 2 tsp chopped almond and 2 tsp chopped pista.

  • Gently press and allow to set.

  • Cut into squares once it cools.

  • Serve.
