- Step 1 In a pressure cooker, add 1 tsp ghee,1/8 cinnamon stick, 2 black pepper, 1 clove, 1/4 tsp jeera and 1/4 tsp hing.
- Step 2 Add 1 tbsp chopped onion, 1.5 tbsp tur dal, 2 tbsp rice, 1 tsp chopped garlic, 1/2 tsp salt for taste and saute.
- Step 3 Add 1 tbsp chopped carrot, 1 tbsp fresh peas, 1/4 tsp haldi and sauté.
- Step 4 Give it a Nestle Twist by adding grated ginger
- Step 5 Mix well, pour water as required and close the lid.
- Step 6 Pressure cook until 2 whistles
- Step 7 Once the pressure releases, fluff the khichdi gently.
- Step 8 Serve it hot with kadhi or plain Nestlé A+ Curd.
