Khichdi With Curd Recipe

1.0 Tbsp(13.0 gm) Rice
1.0 Tbsp(17.0 gm) Moong Dal
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
1/4 Tsp(0.6 gm) Haldi
0.13 Tsp(0.37 gm) Hing
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1.0 Tsp(4.0 gm) Ghee
100.0 Ml(100.0 ml) Water
1/4 Cup(60.0 gm) Nestlé A+ Curd
  • Pre preparations

    Soak 2 tbsp Moong dal and 1 tbsp of rice

  • For khichdi

    First heat 1 tsp ghee in a pressure cooker.

  • Add 1/4th tsp of jeera and 1/8th tsp of hing, soaked and drained moong dal and rice, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp salt and stir it all together.

  • Add sufficient water and close the cooker with its lid.

  • Pressure cook for up to 2 whistles.

  • Serve hot with a bowl of Nestlé A+ Curd.
