Ingredients
Steps
- Step 1
Heat a pan with 2 tsp oil and 2 tsp ghee, add 8 cashew nuts and roast it.
- Step 2
Add 2 cloves, 1 green elaichi, 2 black peppercorns, 1 bay leaf, 1 star anise, 1/2 tsp jeera, 2 tbsp chopped onion and saute until light brown.
- Step 3
Add 2 tbsp grated carrot, 2 tbsp chopped french beans, 1 tbsp cauliflower, 2 tbsp green peas and 1/2 tsp salt.
- Step 4
Cover and cook for 2 mins.
- Step 5
Add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp green chilli paste and mix it.
- Step 6
Add the cooked basmati rice and mix it gently.
- Step 7
Add 1 tsp lemon juice.
- Step 8
Garnish with 1 tbsp raisins.
- Step 9
Give it a Nestle Twist by adding mint leaves.
- Step 10
Serve it hot.
