  • Heat a pan and add 1 tsp cooking oil.

  • Add 1/2 tsp rai, 1/4th tsp hing, 2 tbsp chopped onion, 2 tsp chopped tomato, 1/4th tsp red chilly powder, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp dhania powder, 1/4th tsp salt and stir well.

  • Add 25 ml water, 1/2 cup karela and saute well.

  • Serve hot with roti.
