Kakori Kebab Recipe

Traditional royal kebab made with finely minced mutton with aromas of Indian spices grilled in a tandoor to perfection make the right snack or starter for a rich dinner.

1 Tbsp(8.0 ml) Oil

1.5 Tsp(6.0 gm) Rose Water

As Required(10.0 ml) Water
  • Preparation of Masala

  • In a blender, take 1/4 cup Brown Onion, 1/4 tsp Nutmeg Powder, 1/2 tsp Mace,1/2 inch Cinnamon Stick, 3 Cloves, 1 Green Elaichi, 2 tsp Khas Khas, 1 tsp chopped Ginger, 1 tsp chopped Garlic, 3 tsp Grated Papaya, 1/4 tsp Black Pepper, 5 Kaju and water as required.

  • Grind all ingredients into a smooth paste.

  • For Kebab

    In another blender, take 1/2 cup minced mutton , 1/2 tsp Salt, 2 tsp Ghee, 1.5 tsp Rose Water and add prepared masala.

  • Blend all ingredients well until smooth consistency.

  • Now, in a heated pan add 1 tbsp Oil.

  • Shallow fry the Kebabs until well done.

  • Serve hot.
