Kadhi Kachori Recipe

  • To make the dough,

  • in a mixing bowl add 3 tbsp wheat flour,1/4th tsp each of jeera,1/8th tsp hing, 1/4th tsp grated ginger, 1/2 tsp dry mango powder, 1/8th tsp red chilliy powder and 1/4th tsp salt.

  • Add water as required and knead all the ingredients together to make the dough.

  • To prepare the kachori, roll out the dough into 4 balls.

  • In a kadhai, heat sufficient oil for frying.

  • Deep fry until the kachori turns golden brown.

  • For the kadhi, in a mixing bowl, add 2 tbsp curd, 1 tsp besan, and 1/4th tsp haldi.

  • Whisk all the ingredients together until it forms a smooth mixture.

  • Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan.

  • Add 1/4th tsp of rai, and let it crackle.

  • Add 1 red chilli, 4 leaves of kadi patta and saute.

  • Then, add 1/8th tsp of hing, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste 1/4th tsp salt and saute well.

  • Now add the prepared curd mixture, the required amount of water and mix well.

  • Let the pan simmer for a minute.

  • Finally, garnish with 1/2 tsp of chopped coriander leaves.

  • Serve the kadhi kachori.
