Jowar Peas Pattice Recipe

Jowar and peas pattice is a simple yet delicious twist on the traditional regular pattice that adds the goodness of fiber, zinc and proteins to the recipe while also providing much needed nutrients. Serve it hot and relish.

1.0 Tbsp(12.0 gm) Jowar
1.0 Tbsp(14.0 gm) Rice Flour
3 Boiled,Mashed Tbsp(47.0 gm) Potato
2.0 Boiled Mashed Tbsp(35.0 gm) Fresh Peas
4.0 Chopped Tbsp(13.0 gm) Coriander Leaves
1.0 Grated Tbsp(6.0 gm) Fresh Coconut
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
1/8 Tsp(0.18 gm) Garam Masala
1/8 Tsp(0.56 gm) Salt
1.0 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil
25.0 Ml(25.0 ml) Water
  • Soak 1 tbsp jowar overnight and boil it.

  • In a mixing bowl add boiled jowar, 3 tbsp boiled mashed potato,1 tbsp grated fresh coconut, 1/4 tsp jeera, 1/8 tsp garam masala, 4 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, 1/8 tsp salt and 2 tbsp boiled mashed peas.

  • Add 1 tbsp rice flour and mix well.

  • Make cutlet shapes of the mixture.

  • Shallow fry with 1 tsp oil.

  • Serve hot.
