Jeera Rice Recipe

A plain yet satiating rice seasoned with cumin seeds, pairs with any gravy or vegetable for a nutritious meal.

1 Tsp(2.0 gm) Jeera
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt

2 Tsp(8.0 gm) Ghee

As Required(100.0 ml) Water
  • Heat 2 tsp ghee in a frying pan, add 1 tsp jeera and sauté.

  • Once the jeera starts crackling, add the previously cooked rice and 1/4 tsp salt.

  • Mix it well, cover and allow it to cook.

  • Serve hot with a vegetable or curry.
