- Step 1 Grease the idli moulds with 1/2 tsp oil.
- Step 2 Pour a spoonful of batter into each mould.
- Step 3 Place the idli moulds in the steamer and cook the idlis.
- Step 4 Once done, allow it to cool, cut the idlis into pieces, and keep aside.
- Step 5 Next, to prepare the tadka, heat 1/2 tsp oil, add 1/2 tsp rai, 1/2 tsp urad dal, and 5 kadi patta and saute.
- Step 6 Add 1/8 cup chopped onion, chopped idlis, 1/4 tsp each of salt, haldi, and red chilli powder.
- Step 7 Mix well and saute until the idlis are slightly crispy.
- Step 8 Garnish with 1 tsp of grated fresh coconut.
- Step 9 Give it a Nestle Twist by adding sunflower seeds.
- Step 10 Serve warm.
