Halim Kheer Recipe

Halim kheer is one of the nutritious dish which includes the goodness of halim seeds which are rich in iron and folic acid content. It is an excellent galactogue for lactating mother.

1/2 Cup(102.0 ml) Nestlé A+ Milk
2.0 Tsp(8.0 gm) Garden Cress Seeds
1.0 Chopped Tsp(3.0 gm) Almond
1.0 Chopped Tsp(3.0 gm) Pista
1.0 Powder Tbsp(10.0 gm) Jaggery
15.0 Ml(15.0 ml) Water
  • Boil 1/2 cup Nestlé A+ Milk in a pan

  • Add soaked garden cress seeds and stir gently.

  • Now, add 1 tbsp powdered jaggery and stir well to dissolve it completely.

  • Add 1 tsp each of chopped almond and chopped pista and mix it.

  • Let it simmer and while stirring in between.

  • Once it thickens, switch off the heat and serve.
