A traditional pudding made by boiling milk with rice and flavored with dried fruits and cardamom makes an energy and nutrient dense dessert for any occasion.
Soak 2 tbsp rice and grind into a coarse mixture and keep aside.
Take a kadhai and heat 1 tbsp ghee.
Add 2 tsp chopped almond, 1 tsp chopped cashewnut, 1 tsp raisin, 1.5 cup milk and stir well on a low flame.
Allow to simmer then add the rice mixture and stir well till the mixture thickens.
Then add 1/4th tsp green elaichi powder and mix.
Remove the mixture from flame and add 1.5 tbsp jaggery powder. Mix well
Cool and serve it.
