In traditional Gujarati cooking, kadhi is a delicious concoction of sweet and sour Nestlé A+ Curd thickened with besan (gram flour). This protein and calcium-rich recipe is a filling and quick meal for busy days.
Nutrition Information per serve
In a bowl, add 1/2 cup Nestlé A+ Curd, 1 tbsp besan, 1 tsp sugar, 1/4 tsp salt and whisk it well.
Heat 1 tsp ghee in a kadai, add 1/4 tsp rai, 1/2 cinnamon stick, 2 cloves, 1/10 tsp methi seeds, 1/4 tsp jeera and saute well
Then add 1/8 tsp hing, 1/2 tsp green chilli paste, 1/8 tsp grated ginger, 4 kadi patta and saute it well.
Slowly add the whisked Nestlé A+ Curd mixture and enough water
Mix it well
Simmer for 5 mins
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot with rice.
