A great alternative to your regular soups, this green peas soup is extremely delicious and easy to make. Swap your croutons with some healthy makhana !
Take a frying pan at a low flame, add 2 tsp butter, 1/4th cup chopped onion and sauté.
Once the onions are slightly transparent, add 1 cup of peas and a little water.
Cover and allow it to cook. Once simmering, pour it in a blender with a little more water.
Blend it to a liquid consistency. Keep aside.
Take another pan at a low flame, add 1 tbsp makhana powder and roast it well.
Pour in 1/2 cup milk and stir it.
Add the previously blended puree, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp black pepper powder and mix well.
Allow it to simmer until fully cooked.
Garnish with 1/4th tbsp roasted makhana.
