Mint Green Peas Soup Recipe

This mint green peas soup is filling and also a good source of protein and fibre that helps in digestion.

1 Tbsp(11.0 gm) Peas (Boiled)
1 Tbsp(8.0 gm) Onion (Chopped)
1 Tbsp(2.0 gm) Pudina (Chopped)
1 Tbsp(13.0 gm) Cream
1/2 Tsp(1.0 gm) Garlic (Chopped)
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Vinegar
1/4 Tsp(0.75 gm) Black Pepper (Powder)
2 Tsp(8.0 gm) Butter
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
As Required(80.0 ml) Water
  • Heat a pan, add 2 tsp butter, wait till it melts.

  • Then add 1/2 tsp chopped garlic and saute well.

  • Add 1 tbsp chopped onions, 1 tbsp chopped mint leaves & saute well.

  • Then add 1 tbsp boiled peas,1/4 tsp vinegar, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper powder and water to adjust the consistency.

  • Cover with a lid and bring to boil.

  • Open the lid and add 1 tbsp cream to the soup, mix well and cover again

  • Allow to simmer and serve with bread sticks or croutons.
