Green Moong Chutney Recipe

The chutney tastes best with Akki roti(rice flour rotti),Thali peeth, chapati or dosa or rice. If you like you can add little Nestlé A+ Curds and chopped onion. It tastes good with akki roti and thali peeth.

1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Salt
2 Tbsp(28.0 gm) Whole Moong
25 Ml(25.0 ml) Water
0 Chopped Tbsp(4.0 gm) Garlic
1/2 Tsp(5.0 gm) Tamarind
1 Tbsp(15.0 gm) Jaggery
1/2 Chopped Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli
2 Tbsp(23.0 gm) Fresh Coconut
  • Take a mixer grinder, and start adding your ingredients.

  • Add soaked moong along with 1.5 tbsp grated fresh coconut, 1/2 tsp chopped green chillies, 1 tbsp jaggery, 1 tsp tamarind pulp, 1/2 tbsp chopped garlic and 1/2 tsp salt.

  • Add sufficient water and grind to make a fine paste.

  • Your chutney is ready to serve.
