- Step 1 In a blender add 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1/4 cup chopped tomato, 1/8 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp dhania powder, 1/2 tsp chopped garlic and grins to a smooth paste
- Step 2 Heat a kadhai with 1 tsp oil, add 1/4 tsp rai, 1/4 tsp jeera and let it crackle
- Step 3 Add tomatoonion puree and pour in a some water to adjust the consistency
- Step 4 Give it a Nutritional Twist by adding kasuri methi
- Step 5 Mix well and let it simmer until all flavors combine well
- Step 6 Add the steamed lauki and mix gently
- Step 7 Season with 1/8 tsp salt for taste and mix again.
- Step 8 Cover and cook for a minute
- Step 9 Serve hot with rice.
