Gatte Ki Kadhi Recipe

The Rajasthani Gatte Ki Kadhi Recipe is a traditional yogurt based curry that is simmered along with a spiced gram flour dumplings. 1/4 Tsp(0.54 gm) Red Chilly (Powder)

1/4 Tsp(0.38 gm) Dhania Seeds

1/2 Tbsp(4.0 ml) Oil

  • For Gatte

    In a bowl add 4 tbsp besan,1 tbsp oil, 1/4th tsp salt and add water.

  • Mix well and make thin rolls.

  • Boil water in a pan and add the rolls in it, cover and cook.

  • Semi cook gatte rolls.

  • For kadhi

    In a heated pan add 1/2 tbsp oil, 1/2 tsp dhania seeds,1/4th cup curd, water as required, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/2 tsp dhania powder, 1/4th tsp red chilly powder, 1/2 tsp chopped green chillies and bring it to boil.

  • Add chopped semi cooked gate and let it simmer.

  • Add 4 no. Kadi patta.

  • Mix well.

  • Serve hot with rice.
