Fried Chicken (Kerala Style) Recipe

Fried Chicken is a delectable comfort dish made with marinated chicken, all spices, and a dash of hung Nestlé A+ Curd that makes an excellent appetizer for weekends or any occasion.

1.0 Tbsp(6.0 gm) Corn Flour
1.0 Tbsp(14.0 gm) Rice Flour
1.0 Tbsp(14.0 gm) Nestlé A+ Curd
1.0 Tsp(5.0 gm) Ginger Garlic Paste
1.0 Tsp(2.0 gm) Red Chilli Flakes
1/2 Tsp(2.0 ml) Lemon Juice
1/4 Tsp(0.37 gm) Garam Masala
1/4 Tsp(0.41 gm) Dhania Powder
1/4 Powder Tsp(0.75 gm) Black Pepper
0.13 Tsp(0.3 gm) Haldi
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Salt
3.0 Tbsp(24.0 ml) Oil
20.0 Ml(20.0 ml) Water
  • Take a mixing bowl to add 1 tbsp Nestlé A+ Curd, 1 tsp red chilli flakes, 1/4 tsp dhania powder, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp lemon juice, 1/4 tsp garam masala powder, 1/8 tsp haldi, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper powder and mix well.

  • Further, add 1 tbsp rice flour, 1 tbsp cornflour and mix into a paste.

  • Pour in a little water to obtain slight liquid consistency, mix and add 75 gms of chicken pieces.

  • Marinate the chicken, making sure its coated very well with all the spices and keep aside.

  • Heat oil for frying in a pan, add the previously marinated chicken and fry till golden brown.

  • Garnish with drops of hung Nestlé A+ Curd.

  • Serve hot and fresh.
