To make the batter, take a mixing bowl and break an egg in it.
Add 2 tsp sugar, 1/4th tsp salt and whisk it properly with hand.
Pour in 20 ml milk and whisk again.
Pour in a flat bowl and keep aside.
Melt 2tsp butter on a frying pan at a low flame.
Dip 2 slices of white bread in batter and put it on the frying pan.
Allow it to cook on one side, flip and then cook on the other side as well.
Once both sides are browned, take off the pan and transfer to a serving platter.
Serve fresh and hot with maple syrup.
