Fish is among the healthiest foods on the planet. It’s loaded with important nutrients, such as protein and vitamin D. Fish is also a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, which are incredibly important for your body and brain.
Take ½ cup chopped onions and make a fine paste.
Take ½ cup chopped tomatoes and make a fine puree.
For coconut mixture
Take a pan and dry roast 1/2 cup grated fresh coconut,1 tsp dhania seeds, 1/2 tsp jeera and 2 tsp chopped garlic.
Transfer the roasted mixture into blender and blend it smooth.
Take a pan and heat 1.5 tsp oil, 1/4th tsp rai, 4 kadi patta and allow to crackle.
Now add prepared onion paste and saute till it turns golden brown.
Add 1/2 tsp red chilly powder,d 1/8th tsp haldi and prepared tomato puree , saute till oil releases in the pan.
Once the oil releases add prepared coconut mixture and water as required, 1/2 tsp salt and allow it to simmer.
Add water as required and then add surmai fish pieces.
Cover and allow to simmer.
Garnish with 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
