This rice is essentially a simple whole spice pulao with the added goodness of green peas and methi coconut that adds great flavour to this rice dish. A simple aromatic one pot dish that can be made just under 30 minutes. Green peas are fairly low in calories and contain several vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. They are also high in fiber and protein.

Wash and cook 2 tbsp rice and keep aside.
For the pulao,
Take a kadhai and heat 2 tsp coconut oil.
Add 1/2 tsp jeera, 1/2 cinnamon stick, 4 curry leaves, 1 tsp Urad dal, 4 tbsp peas, 2 tbsp methi leaves and saute well.
Cover and allow to cook well
Then add the cooked rice, 1/8th tsp salt and mix well.
Add 1 tbsp Grated Coconut
