Farali Kachori Recipe

The farali kachori Recipe is a popular snack made during fasts for festivals in India. These are made from mashed potato with the stuffing of freshly grated coconut and whole spice powders. Spicy, tasty and crispy farali kachori is full of flavour.

1.0 Grated Tbsp(6.0 gm) Fresh Coconut
3.0 Tsp(7.0 gm) Arrow Root Flour
1 Tsp(3.0 gm) Sugar (Powder)
1.0 Chopped Tsp(2.0 gm) Cashewnut
2.0 Powder Tsp(1.0 gm) Peanuts
1/2 Tsp(2.0 ml) Lemon Juice
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Raisin
1/4 Tsp(0.44 gm) Jeera Powder
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli Paste
0.13 Tsp(0.56 gm) Salt
1.0 Tbsp(8.0 ml) Oil
  • In a vessel, add 1 tbsp grated fresh coconut, 2 tsp peanut powder, 1/2 tsp raisins, 1 tsp chopped cashew nut, 1 tsp powdered sugar, 1/8 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp green chilli paste, 1/2 tsp lemon juice and mix it well.

  • Add the mashed potato, 3 tsp arrowroot flour, 1/4 tsp jeera powder and mix it well.

  • Flatten the mixture.

  • Fill the stuffing into it and roll.

  • Coat with arrowroot powder.

  • Heat oil in a pan and add kachori's into it.

  • Fry the kachori until golden brown.

  • Serve it hot.
