Deep fried flavorful falafels wrapped in between bread slices with fresh veggie slices and sauces make a perfect meal option.
To make Falafel
In a grinder, add chickpeas, 1 tbsp chopped garlic, 2 tbsp chopped parsley, 1/2 tsp jeera, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp besan,1/2 tsp salt and 1/4th tsp black pepper.
Grind the mixture well to form a coarse paste and add boiled mashed potato.
Grind well again and transfer into a bowl.
Now, make small equal sized cutlets from this paste and keep aside for a while.
On a heated pan add 2 tbsp oil for frying and put the raw falafel balls and fry it till crunchy golden brown.
For Falafel Sandwich
On a slice of bread apply 1.5 tsp butter, place 3 slices of onion, 4 slices of tomato and 5 slices of cucumber.
Now place the falafel on top of it and add 1.5 tsp mayonnaise.
Cover it with another slice of bread.
Serve a fun delicious snack with an accompaniment of your choice.
