White Bread Eggy Oats Mushroom Sandwich Recipe

A handy, easy to make, easy to carry, smart tiffin option or breakfast on the go, sandwich is a complete meal loaded with a variety of vegetables and sauces stuffed in a bread of your choice.

2 No(70.0 gm) White Bread (4'slice)
1 Whole(45.0 gm) Egg
2 Tbsp(15.0 gm) Cheese (Grated)
1/4 Cup(23.0 gm) Mushroom (Chopped)
1 Tbsp(10.0 gm) Yellow Capsicum(Chopped)
1 Tbsp(10.0 gm) Red Capsicum (Chopped)
1 Tbsp(10.0 gm) Capsicum (Chopped)
1/8 Tsp(0.26 gm) Red Chilly Powder
1/4 Tsp(0.75 gm) Black Pepper Powder
1 Tbsp(8.0 gm) Oats
1/4 Tsp Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1 Tsp(4.0 gm) Butter
As Required(15.0 ml) Water
  • For mixture

    Take a kadhai and heat 1/2 tsp butter.

  • Once the butter melts, add 1 tbsp chopped red capsicum, 1 tbsp chopped yellow capsicum, 1 tbsp chopped green capsicum, 1/4th cup chopped mushroom and stir fry.

  • When all the veggies are mixed properly, add 1/8th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp black pepper powder, 1 tbsp oats and mix well.

  • Then add water, 1/8th tsp red chilly powder, cover and cook for a while.

  • Add 2 tbsp grated cheese and mix well again.

  • For sandwich

    Take 2 slices of bread and apply the mixture on one bread.

  • Cover the sandwich with the other bread.

  • For toast

    In a bowl, add 1 whole egg, 1/8th tsp salt and whisk well.

  • Take a pan and heat 1/2 tsp butter in it.

  • When the butter melts, add coated sandwich with seasoned egg with salt.

  • Roast the sandwich on both the sides.

  • Cut in half and serve.
