Egg Rice Recipe

A rice dish with the goodness of eggs is a quick and easy recipe to satisfy those hunger pangs and make a nutrient dense meal easily available.

  • Wash and cook 3 tbsp rice and keep aside.

  • In a nonstick pan, heat 2 tsp oil.

  • To that add 1 tsp chopped garlic, 1 tsp chopped ginger, 3 tbsp chopped onion and stir till light brown.

  • Add 1 egg to this mixture and scramble it well.

  • Spice it up with 1/4th tsp haldi and 1/4th tsp red chilli powder. Stir well.

  • Then add 2 tbsp tomato and mix it well.

  • Add the cooked rice and mix again.

  • Finally sprinkle 1/4th tsp salt and 2 tbsp spring onions and saute well.

  • Serve hot garnished with spring onion.
