Egg Fried Rice Recipe

Usual Chinese fried rice cooked with the goodnes of scrambled eggs and a variety of vegetables makes a meal fun and interesting to be eaten by all.

  • Prepreparation,

  • Wash and cook 2 tbsp basmati rice and keep aside.

  • Boil 2 tbsp peeled and chopped carrots and keep aside.

  • For the egg,

  • In a nonstick pan, break 1 egg.

  • Season it with 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp black pepper powder and scramble the egg. Keep aside.

  • For fried rice,

  • In a thick bottom pot, heat 2 tsp oil.

  • Add 1/2 tsp chopped garlic, 1 tsp chopped ginger, 2 tbsp cooked chopped carrot, 1 tbsp chopped french beans, 1 tbsp chopped green capsicum, 1 tsp chopped green chillies and mix well.

  • Then add 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp soya sauce, 1/2 tsp vinegar and stir well.

  • Add the cooked rice to the veggies and mix all the ingredients well.

  • Once mixed, add 1 tbsp chopped spring onion, 1/4 tsp black pepper powder, 1/2 cup scrambled egg and mix again.

  • Serve hot.
