Egg Bhurji Recipe

A popular Indian breakfast dish, rich in protein. The addition of fresh herbs and cumin seeds aids digestion, while the black sesame seeds help regulate blood pressure.

1.5 Tsp(5.0 ml) Oil
  • In a kadhai, heat 1.5 tsp oil.

  • Add 1/4th tsp each of jeera, red chilli powder, and haldi.

  • Add 1/2 tsp of chopped green chilli, 2 tbsp of chopped onion and 1/4th tsp salt.

  • Saute the ingredients well.

  • Add 1 whole egg and scramble.

  • Garnish with 1 tsp of chopped coriander leaves, and mix well.

  • Finally, sprinkle a tsp of black sesame seeds on top and serve hot with a buttered pav.
