Dudhi Dahi Kadhi Recipe

Bottle gourd is rich in dietary fibre, both, soluble and insoluble. Hence, it helps in curing constipation, flatulence and even piles. It is also easy to digest. It consists of approximately 96% of water and is, therefore, a great thirst quencher. It also prevents fatigue and keeps the body cool and refreshed during summers.

As Required(150.0 ml) Water
  • Prepare a mixture with, 1 tsp besan, 150 ml water, and 1 tbsp curd mix well and keep aside.

  • In a kadhai, heat 1/2 tsp ghee and add 1/4th tsp rai allow to crackle.

  • Add 1/2 tsp green chilli, 4 no. Curry leaves, 1/4th tsp hing, 1/8th tsp haldi.

  • Add some methi seeds for a healthy twist.

  • Mix well and add 1/8 cup grated bottle gourd.

  • Add 1/4th tsp salt and then prepared besan mixture.

  • Add 1 tsp jaggery to the kadhi, mix well and serve hot.
