Heat 1/2 tsp oil in a kadhai on a medium heat
Add 1/8th tsp rai and allow it to crackle.
Add 1 tsp chopped ginger, 1 tsp chopped garlic and saute till they turn aromatic.
Add 1 tbsp onion and fry the onion till it turns translucent in color.
Add 1/8 cup diced capsicum, 1 tbsp chopped tomato,1/8th tsp salt, 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/8th tsp chilly powder, and 1/8th tsp dhania powder saute the spices well and add some water to avoid burning of spices.
Then, add 1/8 cup diced bottle gourd and water to adjust the consistency of the curry.
Stir well and bring to a boil.
Serve hot with rice or chapati.
